The Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre (SUHRC) is the latest addition to the SIU family. In addition to the Institute of Health Sciences, College of Nursing, School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Culinary Arts and School of Sports Sciences the Faculty also has departments for Health Skills, Yoga, Stem Cell Research and Emotional Wellbeing.The Faculty of Health Sciences already has programmes in Hospital & Healthcare Management, Medical Technology, Radiotherapy, Public Health, Nursing, Biomedical Instrumentation, Dialysis Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Biotechnology and Nutrition & Dietetics. The addition of an MBBS to be offered from 2020 by the attached Symbiosis Medical College for Women (SMCW) will further enrich the academic and research environment of the Faculty. This in turn will contribute towards employability and empowerment of women in particular and by furthering the science of medicine, toward the wellbeing of all, humanity in general.
